(originally scheduled for Aug 10 but postponed to the 24th due to weather) // at sunset, come by 7:30 // Last year we saw it by the waters of Cranston –this August 10 at sunset we hope to see it at India Point Park. This outdoor-event is an invitation to approach bodies of water and explore what migration means for different beings. Supported by the Rhode Island State Council for the Humanities and the Providence Department of Art, Culture + Tourism, this series of apparitions will then sail south to keep growing at a residency at Swale House in Governor’s Island, New York City.
[ENG] Video projections by the Providence River + special participation from guest artists will culminate in an interdisciplinary performance.
