On February 3rd from 4:30 – 6:30 PM, “Love Notes: Songs & Stories. Sweet & Salty.” takes the stage at ASKEW for an early evening celebration of love, featuring a captivating blend of heartwarming songs and stories. “Love Notes” will take the audience on a journey between music and spoken word as artists pass on their lessons and notes on love. Featuring the haunting and captivating music of songwriters Olivia Dolphin and Jo Celine, the live sax act SAX MACHINE performance from Joe DeGeorge (Honk if you’re horny), with local storytellers to be announced. Artists have full reign to interpret “Love Notes” however they want, leading to a mixed genre and emotional night from songs and stories about friendships, relationships, and all the “situationships” you might find in between. From the same host that brought “Ghost Stories and Other Missed Connections”, Olivia Dolphin returns, curating an evening that won’t be afraid to dive into the complexity, beauty, and transformative power of love in all our various aspects of life.
