PARLOUR ON THE BLOCK SAT JUNE 22ND IN ASSOCIATION WITH Live Music Society #parlourtothepeople Featuring: The Skatalites Band 60 year anniversary tour Akrobatik Sidy Maiga Sharks Come Cruisin Slurp The Hammer Party The Z-Boys The Quahogs The Providence Drum Troupe Delko The Benji’s Bars Over Bars and more…. This is a family friendly event noon until 8pm w face-painting/Henna/Touch-a-truck/ arts and crafts for the kids Parlour on the Block Party is an opportunity for The Parlour to bring their community together to enjoy live music from local and regional & National musicians. We would like to spotlight two major local issues: the continuing impact of the opioid crisis and the planned revitalization of the North Main Street Corridor. City officials will be present at the festival so that the community has a chance to provide input in a project that will shape the future of the city and neighborhood. The Parlour will also partner with a local health services provider to provide support and resources and to distribute Naloxone and Narcan, two effective methods for stopping a critical overdose.
