NEW ALBUM ‘A Kiss of the Mind’ out now on Re:Mission Entertainment // SWRM is a Providence, RI psych/synthrock duo formed in 2023 by Alec K. Redfearn (synths/voice) and Matt McLaren (drums). Alec and Matt are former members of Alec K Redfearn & the Eyesores, Matt joins AKR&TE for their 2003 release, Every Man For Himself & God Against All, and stayed through the rest of that bands existence. They have worked together on various projects since the late 80’s. The music is structured with some improvisation, inspiration coming from early electronica, blues rock, & German kosmische psych.
