@ Nonviolence Institute, 265 Oxford St, Providence, RI 02905 // NVI: SAVE THE DATE — November 15th from 6-8pm We’re excited to invite you to the opening reception for ‘Makes Me Wanna Holla: Art, Death, Imprisonment’ by Dorothy Burge and Michelle Daniel Jones – a nationally touring exhibition that centers the voices and art of incarcerated individuals with the aim to bring awareness to the moral costs and injustices of the carceral system. Artists Burge and Jones will be in attendance for the opening reception and the exhibit will be displayed in our Chapel Gallery. We hope to see you there!
