Their eclectic and esoteric sound weaves a tapestry of classic rock, folk, punk, and ambient textures. // Boston’s Main Era have steadily honed their sound over the past few years. Their live shows, featuring Garrett Greaves, Jack Halberian, Maeve Malloy, and Willie Swift, are a kaleidoscopic experience. Refusing to be confined by genres, they swap instruments and blend punk rave-ups, ambient sprawls, found-sound samples, and slowcore with shoegaze guitar.
